Let the festivities begin

Oh Halloween how I love you and all the traditions you bring... But also how I despise you from all the candy that you bring and that I have to hide from myself. I mean my children!! This year we started gearing up for Halloween early Cole has a insane obsession/love for dinosaurs and in September starting declaring he NEEDED to be a dinosaur, Jett informed us he wanted to be a zombie, and Owen wanted to be... Donald Duck??
Well towards the end of September when Walmart started bringing out their Halloween costumes and decorations, and anytime we went there for anything we had to walk threw those isles Cole found his Halloween costume a ride on dinosaur. He HAD to have it! And.. honestly it was cute and not too pricey so he got it and wore it everyday and named him Tum-tum.

Well Jett and Owen's costumes were going to be easy this year so we just waited to worry about theirs since we would only need makeup really. Well fast forward to the day before the boys school Halloween carnival when Heather (my sister in-law) let me know Traegan (her son/Owen's best friend) has decided to be Slimer from Ghostbusters. Owen immediately decided he needed to be Stay Puffed Marshmallow man, it was pure panic. We couldn't let our little buddy down. so I hurried and helped them with their home work and as soon as Jason walked in the door informed him we had to run to the nearest Halloween store which is a good half hour away to find Owen his costume! Well guess what??? They sure do not make that costume for little people, only adults but Owen did find a Ghostbuster costume and was pretty dang pleased with himself!
Jettsen decided well he was there that he wanted to go a different direction with his costume too.... surprise, surprise, he wandered around until he found himself the perfect costume. A zombie slayer. His little eyes lit up and he was trying to stay cool, but man was it hard when he was so darn excited!

We had done it! We got everyone a costume and best of all, everyone was so excited! The next day we met up with Josh and Heather to head to the boys Halloween carnival at their school. It was cute and they had a lot of games set up as well as dinner. But I think the kids had more fun just hanging out with their cousins in their costumes.
The last minute switch DID pay off!

A couple of days after that was the ward Halloween party at the church, which was a lot like the school one and the kids were happy to hang out with their cousins once again. (josh and Heather live 3 blocks from us.)

Lastly for our events leading to the main event Jason took the day off of work and we decided to take the boys to Logan for the Pumpkin Walk, we were so excited, we do it every year. we hopped in the car drove all the way there to find out that most all of it was taken down. they had ended it the day before. We weren't going to let that stop us... We walked through the few that were still there!
Cute little pumpkin flowers

This is so Owen! such a silly boy

My own 3 Amigos!
After heading home from a little disappointment by all we decided to carve our pumpkins the boys have been looking forward to this for a week! They were so excited went out and grabbed the pumpkin that they had picked out earlier sat at the table and had dad cut off the tops! Jett Dug right in there pulling out all the guts!!

Owen was next, he dug right in there too he kept saying how he loved how squishy and cold it was, I think secretly he just liked getting dirty with out being told to go clean up!
And then there was Cole.... Poor, poor Cole..
Need I say more!!!
After the goo was out the faces were drawn and Carved. Everyone had the Jack-o-lanterns and hands cleaned, there were smiles all around and they were all pretty happy with the way their pumpkins turned out!

I love these kids and love making fun memories with them! We can't wait for the real fun to begin tomorrow!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVE!

Our 3 Sons

Jason and I have 3 little boys who we think are pretty amazing. They are the best of friends and do EVERYTHING together. they love to play on their trampoline and swing set, ride bikes and scooters, play soccer, Legos, GI Joes and wrestle. Our house is never really quiet, there is always something going on or friends here playing. In our little neighborhood there is a lot of little kids around which equals a lot of little friends for the boys! The boy are never bored!! We think they are awesome and will share a little about each one of them!
Our Oldest is Jettsen. Jett is 7 and will turn 8 in November. Jettsen is always ready and willing to give anyone a hug or a snuggle if they need it, he is very tenderhearted and aware if someone around him is upset or unhappy. He loves to make people happy by his actions and is very muchly all about rules and following them, he has to know every rule and feels very bad if he thinks he may have broken one. Jett is in the 2nd grade and is incredibly smart, he loves to read, especially to his little brothers. He loves his brothers and will do anything for them! Jett is a very good soccer player and loves that his dad is the coach, he loves to play basketball, ride bikes, build with Legos, and play the occasional video game! He really is the sweetest little thing and he makes us insanely proud!
Next we have Owen. Owen is 6 he will be 7 in March he is our little silly goose, he has always loved to make people laugh. When he was 2 years old he would walk up to people and say his name was Owen but he wanted them to call him Owski Whomp Whomp. He has a cute little mind of his own and is just funny! If he sees the camera is on him you will NOT get a normal picture, his smile will be silly or he will go cross eyed! Owen can be sweet as well it is just not shown in the same ways as others for his hugs he backs into you! Owen is in the first grade and is doing GREAT! he is reading well above where he is supposed to! Owen loves to play soccer as well, he is also taking wrestling and has found that he is really pretty darn good at it, he loves to ride his scooter, and try to do tricks on the trampoline. Owen is a huge fan of family dance parties and we have them just about every weekend! Owen is definitely one of a kind and we are so blessed to have his silly little personality in our family, he makes our lives fun!

Our third little dude is Cole. Cole is 3 and will be 4 in February. He is definitely the "baby" of the family right now! He has his brothers wrapped around his little finger and they will let him do anything! Cole loves to be snuggled but also loves to be crazy with his brothers, he always wants to do what his brothers are doing and follows them around everywhere when they are at home. Cole is very much into his own things too he went through a My Little Pony faze that drove his brothers nuts, but he didn't care and made himself a true brony! He now LOVES dinosaurs, which his brothers are ok with because they love to play them with him. Cole loves to ride his scooter, jump on the trampoline, swing, and play with his train sets. He is looking forward to going to pre school next year. (me not so much!)

Our kids are Jason and my world.. We would do anything for them want them to always be happy. We love to spend time with them whether that be helping them with their homework, coaching them in their various sporting events, taking them on little vacation/adventures, or just hanging out as a family watching movies or playing games!
Our boys have always expressed to us how they want another baby brother or sister in our home and Jason and I feel the exact same way! We can not wait to see where this journey takes us!

Where it all began.......

When I was 15 years old my parents owned a movie theater and that being said, I got a job at the age of 15 at Cinefour Movie Theaters. It was a great job that became even better when this CUTE 16 year old boy was hired! Jason was so shy and I could hardly even get him to talk to me but I had a major crush on the boy!! Well on my 16th birthday I had an awesome surprise at my door. It was a birthday cake and a note from Jason asking me out on what would be my first date, to his schools Christmas dance!! I was so excited.
Well the day FINALLY came and we started our date out and drove to the nearby town Ogden and went ice skating which was super fun. On the way home Jason and the few guys we were riding with decided it would be fun to do an impromptu sledding adventure which none of us were dressed for, so we stopped in a little canyon area and 6 of us climbed up this side of a hill/mountain (depending on how you look at it!) ALL 6 of us jump on to this sled. Jason was supposedly steering us, we fly down and CRASH into a little rock wall that was covered in snow, we all went flying. needless to say it was a date to remember with one girl needing stitches, tail bones being broken, and many other painful injuries.. but we made it to the dance!
Jason and I dated on and off for a few years and went to a couple more dances together, nothing serious but we just had fun!

Jason was then called to be a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Dominican Republic East mission.
He learned a lot on his mission and I am pretty sure had a lot of fun times.

He also had some hard times and met a lot of people there that he loved and was happy to serve. While Jason was on his mission I was back home doing my thing, I went to School to become a medical assistant and finished that and worked at a family Physicians office. Jason was very persistent and would write me every week. His letters were always funny and up beat and he would often write me poems! It took me a while and then I started writing him back more and more often!
Jason got home from his mission and called me shortly after and it felt like we were inseparable ever since. We got engaged in May. One night Jason took me to the spot we had our first date, well the sled wreck sight and purposed I could not have been more happy and excited! We then started to plan our wedding. Jason and I are totally not into having big deals about us, so we decided to get married, skip the "typical" reception and just have a dinner. We didn't really care what went on I just wanted my color to be a bright pink and orange and let my mom and Jason's mom know that and let them run wild.

WELL we had quite the event... We started the day out in the morning and got married in the Logan, Utah LDS temple, it was absolutely perfect and I was finally married to my best friend!!!

Then the real fun began.. Apparently when you say you want your colors to be bright pink it means you want Flamingos, right?!
Right!! These were our decorations that my mom and mother in law created! from the guest book with the flamingo pens, to the center pieces with the flamingo suckers, our homemade cake topper made by my mother in law, and lets not forget the flamingo ice sculpture that started melting so it basically just looked like it was peeing the whole time! It was so Fun there was karaoke sung, and it was just a party!!! It could not have been more fun!
After our dinner Jason and I headed off to Jackson Hole and then to Yellowstone for our honeymoon!
we came back and lived in a little apartment for a little bit but then had to move due to a peeping tom. We then landed in an apartment in a house that was right up on campus which worked out perfectly for us as Jason was going to school there! We just so happened to live underneath ALL of Jason's high school friends!
Yep all these boys lived up above us! It was actually a lot of fun and we did feed a lot of boys, often! We lived there a while until we moved on to our second stage of life!
