Halloween started off bright and early for us, Owen had a wrestling match at Mountain Crest High School at 8:30. So we got everyone up and ready and headed there. Owen was pumped and ready to show us what he was working so hard on.... I was nervous and praying he didn't get hurt (I am still not used to this wrestling stuff). They called all the cute little first and second graders down to be weighed and matched with and opponent Owen is just a small dude weighing 44 pounds but this does not stop him. He was a total animal, I couldn't believe that was my child, he was an animal and did so darn well and never gave up! He rocked his first match and it made my heart so happy watching him do something he loves and having so much fun doing it!!

This picture cracks me up, Owen is looking to Jason for advise and Jason has never wrestled and knows nothing about it (we are learning) so Jason says "I didn't know what to do so I just started to yell what all the other guys were yelling".
After the match Grandma and Papa took us to McDonalds for breakfast per the boys request. It was fun to be with them and Owen really appreciated their support!! When we got back home from there the boys were lucky enough to get to help to rake the leaves!! haha they sure didn't feel lucky but were fine with it when they got to put on their Halloween costumes and get ready to go Trick-or-Treating! Josh and Heather came over we got our candy out for the neighborhood kids and we were off!
We made our rounds the boys had a blast and then they got super tired and were ready to go home and get some sleep, well at least Cole was the two bigger boys and Jason went for another hour! All in all I would call it a successful Halloween! Now Bring on Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!!!!
